The EDBT/ICDT 2014 Joint Conference will be held in Athens, Greece, March 24-28, 2014, to provide an established and prestigious forum for the exchange of the latest research results in data management and the foundations of database systems. You are invited to submit proposals for workshops that would be of interest to the EDBT audience or to the ICDT audience; for a non-exhaustive list of topics, please see the EDBT 2014 and ICDT 2014 call for papers. Proposals that target the combined EDBT/ICDT audience are particularly welcome.

Workshops will share the conference venue with the EDBT/ICDT 2014 conference. EDBT/ICDT workshops will run on March 29, 2014, directly after the main conference. Workshops can last either 1/2 or 1 day. Workshop attendees are required to register to the joint conference event. Attendance at workshops is included in the registration fee.
Workshops will benefit from the EDBT/ICDT 2014 organizational infrastructure and receive administrative support (registration, badges, refreshments, hotel booking, etc.). We expect you to work with the EDBT/ICDT 2014 local organizers on the details and publicity aspects of your accepted workshop.
